Nothing But the Blood….We sang this song today at church and I caught myself just saying the words instead of thinking about them and truly meaning it. You know what I mean? And the thought crossed my mind (not a new idea, just a reminder)….how often do we take for granted or forget what Jesus did for us? It’s easy to talk about God with friends and such, but Jesus is a whole other matter. Most of what we talk about with spiritual matters is God – the Father…wouldn’t you agree? The Holy Spirit is kind of hard to bring up, especially with unbelievers because it’s a seemingly foreign concept that we don’t want/know how to explain; it’s kind of a tough subject. We don’t want to sound mystical or whatever. Then Jesus seems hard to talk about too, maybe partly for the same reason as the Holy Spirit. I think we can sense He makes some people uncomfortable, which honestly makes us uncomfortable. God is a generic term/name. In fact, the world uses it a lot…mostly in a negative sense. Jesus on ...
